BLURB
The Temporary Trio are a Taunton based band of traditional Old Time North American folk music. They occasionally perform as a trio, a duo, or solo and even a quartet with a mix of traditional and contemporary songs with the added Old Time touch. Su on clawhammer banjo has been taught by the virtuoso banjo player Adam Hurt and has explored the instrument in various genres, such as the contemporary songs of Tony Leach, guitarist of the Trio. Together they play intricate tunes as well as songs with the accompaniment of Keith Marsden on harmonica and of course our occasional guests!
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Guitar & Vocal(Tony) direct line jack & x1 mic Percussion, harmonica and vocal(Keith) x2 mics (he does have his own harmonica mic using a 1/4 jack but can use one of yours) Banjo & fiddle(Su) banjo = x1 XLR lead, fiddle = x1 mic Mixing requirements Banjo same level as guitar, if not a bit louder. Harmonica lower than guitar and banjo as he can be loud! Percussion and vox should be clear and loud. Guitar needs clear bass lines/runs.
